How to get to the Hotel Hilton Cologne

On foot from Cologne main railway station

Take the train to Cologne main railway station; leave the train station from the “Dom/Innenstadt” exit. Turn right and take “Domprobst Ketzer Strasse”. After about 30 m you will reach a small traffic circle. Here you turn right on Marzellenstrasse, where you will see the Hilton Cologne on the left side of the street. The Hilton Cologne is only 200 m from the Cologne railway station.

By plane:

Take airport bus no.170 from the Cologne / Bonn airport to Cologne main railway station (app. 20 minutes) and then follow the directions above in the description “On foot from the Cologne Main Railway Station”. A one-way bus ticket is 5 €.

By car:
Coming from Cologne / Bonn “Konrad Adenauer” airport:

Take the A59 Autobahn - direction Köln “Zentrum”. The Autobahn ends in Köln-Deutz. Keep driving straight ahead (“Opladener Strasse”, which subsequently becomes “Mindener Strasse” and “Deutzer Brucke“). Cross the Rhine on Deutzer Bridge and take the first right immediately after the bridge, direction “Dom/Hbf”. Turn left at the stoplight after the overpass, and then turn left again into the tunnel. At the stoplight at the end of the tunnel, turn left, drive straight ahead under the overpass, and turn right at McDonalds on “Marzellenstrasse”. Continue straight ahead at the traffic circle. The Hilton Cologne is on the left side of the street.

From the A1 and A57 coming to Cologne from the north.

At the Köln-Nord Autobahn Kreuz take the A57 - direction Köln, the Autobahn ends in Cologne. At the end of the Autobahn take the “Lindental/Zentrum” exit” and move into the left lane. Take the first left - “Subbelrather Strasse” and stay on this street until you get to the city center. The street name will change to “Gladbacher Strasse”, Christophstrasse”, “Gereonstrasse”, “Untersachsenhausen” and “An den Dominikanern”. You will come to a small traffic circle. Turn left here on “Marzellenstrasse”. You will see the Hilton Cologne on the left side of the street.

Coming to Cologne from the south and southwest on the A1 and the A4:

Coming with the A4, at Autobahn Kreuz Köln-West take the A1 - direction Oberhausen, and then take the next exit Köln-Lövenich. Turn right - direction Köln-Zentrum. You will then be on “Aachener Strasse”, stay on this street for several kilometers until you reach the city center. The name of the street will change to “Richard-Wagner-Strasse“, “Hahnenstrasse”, “Cäcilienstrasse” and “Pipinstrasse” – at this point move into the right lane, follow the right turn lane - direction “Dom/Hauptbahnhof”. At the stoplight on the Rhine turn left into the tunnel, at the end of the tunnel turn left, and then drive straight under the overpass. Turn right at McDonalds on “Marzellenstrasse”. After 20 meters you will come to a small traffic circle, go around and continue in the same direction. The Hilton Cologne is on the left side of the street.

Coming to Cologne from the north on the A3:

At Autobahnkreuz Köln-Ost, take the turnoff - A4 direction Köln-Zentrum. Then take the “Messe/ Zentrum“ exit, you will then be on “Deutz-Mülheimer-Strasse”. On the other side of the railway overpass turn right on “Opladener Strasse”, which subsequently becomes “Mindener Strasse” and “Deutzer Brucke”. Cross the Rhine on “Deutzer Brücke (Deutzer Bridge) and take the first right immediately after the bridge,  - direction “DOM/Hbf”. At the stoplight on the other side of the overpass, turn left, and then turn left again into the tunnel. At the stoplight at the end of the tunnel, turn left, drive straight ahead under the overpass and turn right at McDonalds on “Marzellenstrasse”. Follow the traffic circle and continue in the same direction. The Hilton Cologne is on the left side of the street.

Coming to Cologne from the south on the A3 and A59:

On the A3 take the A4 - direction Aachen at the Autobahndreieck Heumar. Then immediately after, at Autobahn Kreuz Gremberg, take the A59 - direction Cologne, the Autobahn ends in an access road. Stay on this - direction Zentrum, you will drive under the “Kölnarena”, and stay on “Opladener Strasse” which subsequently becomes “Mindener Strasse”. Cross the Rhine on “Deutzer Brücke and take the first right immediately after the bridge - direction “DOM/Hbf”. At the stoplight on the other side of the overpass, turn left, and then turn left again into the tunnel. At the stoplight at the end of the tunnel turn left, drive straight ahead under the overpass, and turn right at McDonalds on “Marzellenstrasse”. Follow the traffic circle and continue straight ahead. The Hilton Cologne is on the left side of the street.

Coming to Cologne from the south on the A555:

The A555 ends in the  Köln-Süd roundabout. Turn right - direction Zentrum-Messe”. The street turns to the left, and you are driving on the banks of the Rhine (subsequently “Militärringstrasse”, “Oberländer Ufer”, “Gustaf-Heinemann-Ufer”, “Agrippina Ufer”, “Bayental Ufer”, “Holzmarkt“, “Leystapel”.) After a few kilometers you will come to a tunnel, at the stoplight at the end of the tunnel, turn left, and then drive straight ahead under the overpass. Turn right at McDonalds on “Marzellenstrasse”. After 20 meters you will reach a small traffic circle – go around and continue straight in your original direction. The Hilton Cologne is on the left side of the street.

Coming from Zoobrücke or from Ebertplatz:

Take “Turiner Strasse” - direction “Dom/ Hauptbahnhof”. After app. 750 meters beyond Ebertplatz, turn right on “Ursula Strasse”, at the small stoplight proceed straight ahead under the overpass. Now you are on Marzellenstrasse. The Hilton Cologne is on the right side of the street, app. 500 m down the street.

Coming from Köln-Deutz:

Cross the Rhine on “Deutzer Brücke” and take the first right immediately after the bridge - direction “DOM/Hbf”. At the stoplight on the other side of the overpass, turn left, and then turn left again into the tunnel. At the stoplight at the end of the tunnel, turn left, drive straight ahead under the overpass, and turn right at McDonalds on “Marzellenstrasse”. Follow the traffic circle and continue straight ahead. The Hilton Cologne is on the left side of the street.

Coming from the Rhineufer (banks of the Rhine):

Coming from the north, behind the Musical Dome, turn right, go straight under the overpass, and turn right at McDonalds on Marzellenstrasse. Follow the traffic circle and continue straight ahead. The Hilton Cologne is on the left side of the street.

Coming from the south, go around the right side of the Schokoladenmuseum (Chocolate Museum), and then shortly thereafter, drive into a tunnel. At the stoplight at the end of the tunnel, turn left, drive straight ahead under the overpass, and turn right at McDonalds on “Marzellenstrasse”. Follow the traffic circle and continue straight ahead. The Hilton Cologne is on the left side of the street.

Parking

The unique parking service offered by the Hilton Cologne means that you do have to spend your time looking from a parking place. Drive your car right up to the hotel, the parking service will park your car in the hotel garage, and get it for you when you need it!
