Veteran cybersecurity leader Matthew Webster helps organizations bridge the gap between business leadership, governance, resilience, and cybersecurity.
His career began in 1997 at a university computer center before advancing into federal cybersecurity with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), where he worked extensively with frameworks such as NIST SP 800-53 and complex audit environments.
Having served in multiple CISO and cybersecurity leadership roles throughout his career, Matthew has extensive experience in governance, enterprise risk management, operational resilience, AI risk, quantified risk management, and strategic cybersecurity leadership.
Today, as the Founder, CEO, & CISO of Cyvergence, he advises executives, boards, and organizations through a holistic approach centered on Cyvergence’s mission: Bridging Business & Cybersecurity.
