Peter Wimmer heads information security and IT governance at TRATON SE. He has been focusing on IT and information security for more than 20 years, many years as a security consultant in the automotive and mobile communications environment. At MAN Energy Solutions in Augsburg and since 2020 at TRATON SE in Munich, Peter Wimmer has put together the information security teams, dealt with the security of ship engines, among other things, and he sometimes comes up with his own ideas in response to his ambivalence about the usual approaches to risk management.
