Constantin Wenz first studied Computer Science at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. He completed his studies in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Then he switched to TU Darmstadt, where he received a Master’s degree in IT Security in August 2015. At the same time, he resumed his work at the large German Internet provider in the application security field at the end of 2014 and gained more detailed experience in the web security and audits field.

After having finished his studies, he started working as an IT security consultant at cirosec GmbH in September 2015. The focus of his work included security assessments of Windows clients and servers as well as of large Microsoft environments.

He left cirosec in October 2019 to gain IT security experience in a new environment. His path led him from the red team in a big German company to the IT security management of an international corporation and then, three and a half years later, back to cirosec.

In his job, Constantin Wenz still focuses on finding and fixing vulnerabilities in Windows infrastructures and the related cloud services. In his spare time, he develops different security tools to detect and remove security flaws mainly in Azure.
